- I have never ridden before, but eager to learn discover the joys of horse-riding in the open country
Beginner
- I have ridden a few times, and confident riding a horse at a walk, a rising trot, and are in the process of learning to canter.
Intermediate
- I have ridden many times, and am confident, secure and balanced on a horse at all paces - walk, trot, canter - in open country.
Advanced
- I am a frequent and fit rider, confident about riding at a fast pace and handling a forward-moving horse with an independent seat and soft hands.
